Electric flat bar gravel bike
An electric gravel bike designed to integrate assist technology without altering the character of a traditional bicycle.
Overview
The EB8 electric gravel bike was developed as an exploration of integrating an electric assist system into a traditional bicycle frame without compromising its appearance or riding characteristics.
The design is based on the Vivax Assist system, which allows the motor to be discreetly installed within the seat tube. The frame geometry and dimensions were adapted to accommodate the system while maintaining the proportions of a standard gravel bike.
A custom battery was developed and integrated into the down tube, ensuring a clean and unobtrusive design. Additional elements, including an integrated LED light within the head tube, further emphasize the concept of a fully self-contained system.
The result is a lightweight and visually understated electric bicycle that retains the look and feel of a conventional bike while offering assistance when needed.
