X-9 Nighthawk

X-9 Nighthawk was an experimental frame made out of sandwich panels with aramid honeycomb as a core, covered with carbon fiber skins. It was a predecessor of the B-9 NH bicycle.

The frame structure was created from honeycomb sandwich panels which were water-jet cut, connected and laminated over by carbon fiber.

X-9 Nighthawk with handlebars, fork and the new BME S72 saddle prototype. The handlebars with the stem were made out of carbon fiber, the carbon fork was shaped to fit the frame design.

X-9 Nighthawk

The fully assembled singlespeed X-9 Nighthawk bicycle, equipped with belt drive and the infiniti3D bicycle component security system developed by Atomic22 was presented to the public at Berliner Fahrradshau in Berlin in March 2012 where attracted a lot of attention.
